This is a fairly quick roundup, and I’ll probably follow up with another longer one this week. I’m just curious how useful the roundup actually is to everyone. If you like it (or don’t) feel free to leave a comment. Is it just good blogger manners to link once in a while, or is it really helpful for me to highlight some of these articles once in a while?

Dealing With the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) : Generation X Finance
- Something I worry about a lot, since I have a moderately high income and huge deductions from my excessive property tax and state tax deductions. Good analysis of a scary topic!
Carnival of Family Life #3 | the so called me
- My article “how to be a good partner to a stay-at-home spouse” was included at the Carnival of Family Life. “Baby Number Three” at Skillzdesign was a cute article, worth reading.
Why Acupuncture Could Be For You | Be Healthy and Relax
- I haven’t ever tried acupuncture myself, but my wife did and loved it. Interestingly, Blue Cross covered acupuncture, but my company is switching to Cigna on January 1st and I don’t know if it will be covered then. It’s pricey, but I always say that you can’t spend too much on your health.
LifeEdit.net: Carnival of Life Editing #3
- My article “What Lies Before Us” was included at the Carnival of Life Editing, a fairly new carnival hosted at a good blog, LifeEdit. I really liked “A Typical Day in the Life of a Stay at Home Mom” over at More 4 Kids, as well.
And finally, the continuation of Is College Worth It is coming soon…

Linklings are only useful when they link to me…
Kidding! lol. I like ‘em.
I like link roundups. I get to see some great articles from bloggers I might not yet know about.
However, roundups that exceed 5 or so links (unless it’s a carnival) are almost too long. It becomes harder to read, unless the post is well-organized.
Thanks so much for including me on your linklings, Steve. It’s always such a great feeling to see that others can relate to what I have to share. Acupuncture sure could get expensive, but I’m in a world of better now that I’ve tried it. You better get a taste of it yourself before you change policies!
It’s helpful to me. I’m always amazed at how many carnivals are out there. You mentioned two here that I hadn’t heard of.
OK, well, that’s a few votes FOR, I guess!
Awesome pic – that’s in Vancouver, my hometown. And a really great stripper bar. On the dodgy Eastside with Hells Angels in the audience.
Oh yeah, linklings are good.
Carlos – that’s hilarious, I had no idea! I thought it was funny because of the sign, but knowing it’s a Vancouver strip club frequented by Hell’s Angels gives it a little extra weirdness. Thanks for pointing it out
