Thinking about STUFF, again… why is it there, what it’s preventing me from doing, and why I can’t cook it in olive oil. Confused? You should be! Read these links and maybe it will make a bit more sense.
- China Kettle, Dryer and Scale, Inc.: This is a blog I just came across and there’s some very interesting stuff in it. This article really got me thinking about China’s future and about the future of American consumerism. Worth checking out this article and the blog in general. (@ Sudden Debt)
Today is The First Day of The Rest of Life: Another blog I just started reading. It’s amazing and inspiring to read about what it’s like to retire in your 40s. I’m going to keep reading this one for inspiration. (@ My Wealth Builder)
- Olive Oil Users Aren’t All Snobs, Some of Us Are Just Misinformed: Paid Twice has a guest post up at MM&MM about using canola oil instead of olive oil. I agree with the main idea of the post – how do we get unbiased information – but I completely disagree with using canola oil, just like I did when I read the original post. In terms of taste alone I prefer olive oil. Let me put it this way: squeeze an olive, you get oil. Squeeze corn, and what do you get? Might need a little bit of chemical extraction to get that oil, I think. I just like olive oil. Reminds me of Rome. (@ Money, Matter, and More Musings)
From the Brip Blap archives: quitting the rat race, the easy way. Yes, it is easy if you are married executives with no children and ONE of you quits the rat race. CNN Money once again shows that the news is pretty easily manipulated to craft whatever story you want out of the facts.
