Just assume that not everybody's as thourough as you are in your subject and no need to use fancy terminology. I used to work as a newspaper reporter. At one newspaper, any time I tried to be a little creative with a boring story, they'd send it back and basically tell me to dumb it down. I'm sure that if you've read through a newspaper recently, you're probably not surprised by that. Ugh, you are so right.
