I am still tinkering with my automated linkling tool. One of my main challenges has been that I developed it in Excel and then tried to use it in OpenOffice, and the mail merges for the two don’t work exactly the same way. Therefore I went back and tried to make this more or less a spreadsheet-only solution, which is simpler but makes it a bit harder to automate. Anyway, here are a few good links I came across recently:
- Uncover The Truth About Needs and Wants : Many people say that they want more free time, but their actions don’t support that. We made the choice to take a big drop in lifestyle for our children and have never doubted that for an instant. (@ Millionaire Mommy Next Door)
- Looking At Life From A Stock Market Perspective : Sometimes it’s important, particularly if you’re caught up in your finances and the day-to-day grind of budgeting, saving, earning and so on, to consider that there are other things in life that are infinitely more important. (@Money, Matter, and More Musings)
- How to Build Muscle and Lose Fat : Just what the article says – a clear, no-nonsense approach to building muscle and losing fat. I have been getting really lax in this area recently – I’m still lifting but my running has fallen way, way off, so I need to intensify my lifting efforts. (@Zen Habits)
From the Brip Blap archives: How To Lose 100 Pounds, Part 1. Still haven’t written parts 2 and 3 but I plan to do so eventually!
