		<description>@Curmudgeon:  My commute is probably worth another post, but I would say that it&#039;s better than Manhattan although it&#039;s so different that it&#039;s comparing apples and oranges.  In Manhattan I either spent 60-90 minutes on subways, trains, driving and walking or taking a ferry and then walking.  Now, I have a 20-30 minute car drive in the morning and (depending on when I leave) a 30-60 minute drive home.  The car drive is both more pleasant (I listen to audiobooks on my MP3 player, hooked up to my stereo) and more stressful (high speeds or standstill traffic).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;I&#039;ve come to think that no commute is FUN that involves anything more than walking.  I spent one year within walking distance of my office and I even got bored with that, eventually... &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;But on whole, I spend less time commuting and it&#039;s easier (no need to adhere to train schedules, etc.) so it&#039;s better.  But mainly it&#039;s very, very different.</description>
