Since I only had two links yesterday, I’ll average it out with four today… enjoy!
Money Vs Time Off: Why We Don’t Take Vacations: Americans give a lot of lip service to wanting more time off, but do they really want it? I always said if I could take a job with unpaid vacations, I would, just to get more time off. Two and a half years ago, I did. I have taken off about 6-8 weeks per year now for 2.5 years – but most of that is unpaid. Would you? (@ The Digerati Life)
Is Today the Beginning of the End for Social Security?: I really don’t think the Baby Boomers are going to be the disaster everyone thinks they are. Sure, we’re going to have ever so slightly higher taxes, or means testing, or something along those lines but I doubt Social Security is going to completely implode. Then again, I thought the Jets were going to challenge the Patriots this year so my judgment is suspect. (@ Bean Counter Blog)
How to Find Happiness: 7 Timeless Tips from the Last 2500 Years: A surprisingly simple list – and some great quotes, as well. I wish I could just copy this and post it here at Brip Blap – it’s that close to my own thinking! (@ The Positivity Blog)
Fortress Manhattan: No Real Estate “Crisis” There: Where do all the gazillionaires come from? Are there that many investment bankers in downtown Manhattan? I know for a fact they aren’t reproducing, so are they just refilling with fresh stock imported from Middle America? Any ideas? (@ Bigger Pockets)
