The bus that I wrote about continues to do well - ridership is picking up a bit. The interesting thing I’ve done recently is that I’ve picked up the pace of my reading. I started reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows when I walked out of the door at 7:45 am this morning. I arrived at work at 9:15 or so and put a bookmark in at page 290 or so. 300 pages in 90 minutes - it’s either easy reading or the Matrix has upgraded my reading ability plug-in.

Don’t Worry About Yesterday Or Tomorrow, Focus On Today.: It’s simple advice to focus on today but hard to implement. Money Socket’s one of the blogs I always read, and this is a great, simple piece of advice. It impacts just about everything – health, finance, happiness. Don’t worry, be irie, mon… (@ Money Socket)

Becoming Wealthy Is Contagious: Oh, if only I could come down with a bad case of the richies. Actually this makes perfect sense – hanging out with rich people increases your chances of being rich. I need to work on this – I hang around with a lot of poor dads (I’m not talking about my friends, just professional colleagues). (@ My Wealth Builder)

The ‘What If’ Scenario: 9 things to think about if you ever lose a job. If you think about it, this is a useful list even if you plan to quit a job. (@ Frugal For Life)

I also had articles in a couple of carnivals: the Carnival of Personal Finance #122 and Live the Power Unlimited Volume 8. Both have some excellent stuff, so give them a quick perusal.
Today’s article from the Brip Blap archives: find a nickel, pick it up. I saw a dime and didn’t get it today, for an odd reason - it was sitting on a ledge rather than on the ground, so for some reason I thought that might mean it belonged to someone. Go figure.
