The Carnival of Money Stories is up at Tight Fisted Miser. As always, lots of good stuff, but I’ve narrowed it down to a few of the submissions I really liked:
Meredith H. Kaiser presents Financial (and Life) Lessons I Learned as a Kid posted at Saving Advice Blog. Disco Dolls? Are you kidding me? Great lessons, though, and something worth thinking about if you have kids - all of these are great tips.
Silicon Valley Blogger presents 10 Tips On Life and Disability Insurance: How And Why We’re Getting More posted at The Digerati Life. I have to be honest and say that I hate reading about insurance almost as much as I hate thinking about why I might need it, but the simple fact is that you can’t ignore it. It’s just too gruesome to think about, but you have to, and here are some good starting points.
If you want to continue down that cheery path, read edithyeung’s The Money Series - You Are Not Going to Live Forever posted at Edith Yeung.Com: Dream. Think. Act.. Not much to say except "don’t want to think about it."
And as always, the best thing about carnivals is coming across good posts on blogs you haven’t seen before. This time around it’s Amanda’s post How I made $1592.53 in 1 month by blogging posted at the so called me!
And finally my post on find a nickel, pick it up was included, as well.
