Happy Labor Day!

To celebrate Labor Day, I thought I would showcase a few personal finance, productivity and even environmental thoughts by Mr. Labor – ladies and gentlemen, heeeeeeere’s Karl Marx!

Capital is money, capital is commodities. by virtue of it being value, it has acquired the occult ability to add value to itself. It brings forth living offspring, or, at the least, lays golden eggs. We call it compound interest and yes, we love it. If capital is a golden egg, then I’m hoping to cook the biggest omelette in the world one day.
Landlords, like all other men, love to reap where they never sowed. You couldn’t be more right – passive income is one of the keys to financial freedom! I’ve got a great 2-bedroom rental condo overlooking a park for you, Karl.

The English have all the material requisites for the revolution. What they lack is the spirit of generalization and revolutionary ardour. I doubt even the English would argue that they have revolutionary ardor – unless you’re talking about Manchester United, in which case they have ardor coming out the —–.

The development of civilization and industry in general has always shown itself so active in the destruction of forests that everything that has been done for their conservation and production is completely insignificant in comparison.
